2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account or use Hesabu Pro, we may collect:

• Your full name and business name
• Email address and phone number
• Financial records you enter into the app (sales, expenses, invoices, payroll, etc.)
• Device information for offline sync purposes
• Payment reference numbers when you subscribe (we do not store card details)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Provide and operate the Hesabu Pro accounting platform
• Sync your financial records securely across your devices
• Send important account and service notifications
• Process subscription payments through authorised payment processors
• Improve our product and fix technical issues

4. We Do Not Share or Sell Your Data

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any client information to any third party, ever.

The only exception is our authorised payment processors — AzamPay and CoralCommerce — who receive only the minimum information necessary to process a transaction (e.g., phone number or payment amount). These processors are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and do not receive access to your financial records.

5. How We Store Your Data

Your financial records are stored in two places:

• On your device — in a local database (IndexedDB) so the app works fully offline.
• In the cloud — on Supabase, a secure cloud database platform, so your data is backed up and accessible across devices when you are online.

All data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

7. Cookies & Local Storage

Hesabu Pro uses browser local storage to remember your session, country preference, and offline data. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.

8. Children's Privacy

Hesabu Pro is intended for use by businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Hesabu Pro after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
