Terms of Service

1. About Hesabu Pro

Hesabu Pro is a cloud-connected accounting and business management platform developed by Novara Software, designed for small and medium businesses in Tanzania and Kenya. The platform includes features such as POS sales, expense tracking, invoicing, payroll, banking, tax reporting, and more.

2. Eligibility

By using Hesabu Pro, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your business, and will use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws.

3. Subscription Plans

Hesabu Pro is available under the following plans:

• Monthly — billed monthly, renews automatically
• Annual — billed once per year, renews annually
• Lifetime — a one-time payment for permanent access

Prices are shown in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) for Tanzania customers and Kenyan Shillings (KES) for Kenya customers and include applicable taxes.

4. Payment

Payments are processed through authorised payment providers including AzamPay (mobile money) and CoralCommerce (card payments). By completing a payment, you authorise Novara Software to charge the applicable subscription fee.

Your subscription activates immediately upon successful payment. Renewal charges occur automatically at the start of each billing period for monthly and annual plans.

5. No Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

This includes but is not limited to: change of mind, failure to use the service, or dissatisfaction with features. We encourage you to make use of the free 7-day trial to evaluate Hesabu Pro before purchasing a subscription.

6. Free Trial

New users may access a free 7-day trial with full platform functionality. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial period, access to Pro features will be restricted unless a subscription is purchased. Trial usage is limited to one trial per device.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Hesabu Pro only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Enter false, fraudulent, or misleading financial records
• Use the platform to facilitate money laundering or tax evasion
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the software
• Share account access with unauthorised parties
• Use the platform in any way that violates Tanzanian or Kenyan law

8. Your Data

You retain full ownership of the financial data you enter into Hesabu Pro. We do not access, use, share, or sell your business data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hesabu Pro and Novara Software are not liable for any loss of data, business interruption, financial loss, or indirect damages arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided as-is, and while we work hard to ensure reliability and accuracy, we make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.

It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of data entered and to maintain your own records and backups where required by law.

10. Account Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at info@novarasoftware.ai. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for any period already paid.

Novara Software reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service without prior notice or refund.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Hesabu Pro after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
